Inb4 Bombers try to make a late play for Longer.  ::)
no chance, got two solid rucks + Daniher, we do need a ruck in the reserves which I doubt Linger will be interested in,  ::)

In case you've been in hibernation, Adrian Dodoro's running the show at Windy Hill... anything is possible.  ::)

Why are the bombers so painful to deal with??

Crameri deal should have been done day 1 and Gumby should be sorted by now as well...

They overrate their players more than Carlton fans!!

I don't want gumby to go, were gonna get crap for him and he's gonna have more opportunity with cramers gone.

:( we have spent so much time on this kid, to see him go will kill me

That's what I was thinking. Officially he's still a Bomber, but a deal will probably be done.

Mailman the 2nd

I was under the impression that uninjured he'd be playing 22 games anyway, so I wouldn't necessarily say opportunity is why he left

His injuries were narrowed down to a displaced disk in his back pulling on the muscles in his legs, since he has had the back surgery it seems to have stopped the frequency of injuries. He played a good full season, and I would love for him to play one more at the bombers. He can also do some ruck work, so if ryder or bellend go down he can fill a void there also. I doubt daniher will be ready in the ruck for another few seasons.

The more I think about it the more I don't want him to leave

He can still be traded.
At least Chapoy doesn't have to wait until Nov 1st and can join the Bombers now.
The Bombers also get a pick out of it.

Mailman the 2nd

Don't want to be too rude here but Essendon might have the worst forward line going into 2014. Daniher still a ways off and Hurley is in and out of the forward and back 50.

I'm curious as to what's going to happen? Pick 26 might get a good midfielder or small forward but I see a pretty big gaping hole

you feeling alright mate?

Winderlich, Hurley, Zaharakis
Chapman, Bellchambers, Daniher

Still looks bloody good to me, definitely better than anything Carlton can produce
