Apparently we are trying to swap 42 and 66 picks with the crameri deal. So we can then try for Shaun Edwards with 48.

I dunno if we are dreaming or there is more to it, because both clubs have now agreed he is worth more than just 22.

I think the most reasonable scenario is to go;
Gumby <-> 52
Crameri, 52 <-> 22, 42
48 <-> Shaun edwards 

But I don't know why GWS would want a 48 pick... seems kinda silly for them

I think there is massive potential in snapping up those delisted gws/gcs players. They don't have the list space or time to develop some of those kids, time that clubs like Essendon do have. And with a name like Maverick.... come on

Edwards is only 19, Atley is only 21 and had an ACL most of 2012. I think you can excuse them for not setting the world on fire.

I meant that it works for all parties involved. Not like either club is paying overs or unders.

I'm thinking now they must have wanted 48 for a trade. couldn't imagine them getting rid of two potential great kids for one kid.
