Flights from Perth to Melbourne

Anyone on here got much experience making the trip to Melbourne for the GF? (as a Freo supporter for 15 years, I obviously do not)

I'm not sure if it will be cheaper to get flights now from the few remaining (with a refundable option, just in case) or to wait until it's certain Freo are going and hope more flights get put on and then they'll be cheaper.

Does anyone know if more flights would get put on? And would they be cheaper than the few remaining flights going now?

I would really doubt they would get any cheaper from now, if anything they would only get more expensive.

If you're able to get refundable ones now and you really want to go I would book now. If Freo win Saturday night any remaining flights would be booked in a matter of minutes after the game ;)

Most of the cheap flights have already been booked and only expensive flights are currently available.  They will probably put on more flights but dont expect them to be cheap.

if you can get a ticket at a price you are happy with now i would do it.

Booked them today. Refundable tickets return fare came to $1,800. A ridiculous amount to pay to go to melbourne, but money is fleeting, seeing Freo play in their first ever grand final would be forever! GYBD!
