Yeah I mentioned this a couple days ago - if, after all this, he comes back to the club and says I want to stay, I'm sure we'd all be happy enough to have him back, but the relationships between Dusty, his teammates, club officials and our supporters may be very tender... I'm not sure how it's gonna turn out. :-[

I think that was evident in that Brandon Ellis quote that someone put up where he said to his manager to take whatever RFC offer.
The clear cut difference between loyalty and greed.

I wonder if we are too harsh, and that 'loyalty' is often a one way street.

Richmond, like all clubs, will axe players that are not performing. Leaving a lot of young adults with no clear future after taking years of there lives. Some would say that is disloyal also...

That is a great point :) AFL gets me so passionate that I always seem to forget the fact that the AFL is a business and not an extended family of 18 haha really good point, successfully changed my perspective on the issue. In other news Hinkley said he will not be pursuing Martin as he directly stated: "we simply cannot afford him" but I think Jared Polec will be finding a new home at Aberton after Hinkley said he was willing to use his first round draft pick (something the Crows cannot offer) but claimed he would first make sure that Polec wanted to play for Port Adelaide in the first place :)
