There is a rumor going around that this year he had been building up his tank to move into midfield and be a Mathew Pavlich type. With another pre-season he may end up getting some time in the middle, definitely on my watchlist!

Was saying last year that I can see him moving into the midfield. Has the ability and size to do it.
With Eagles current lineup I can't see it happening for a while though. He is needed up forward and with their current midfield stocks, he isn't needed in the middle.

As a forward I don't think he can push 85-90+ just year but there's no doubt this kid has talent and will be very DT relevant one day

The difference is next year Cox will rest up forward more (as Nic Nat will become main ruckman) and if you watched many eagles games when one of the ruckman were resting up forward he rarely touched the ball. He has the tank to go into midfield and we are in need of a bigger bodied player, he is a risk and i wont be starting him but he could improve by 10-15 points.
But as i said, very risky!

Colliwobblers

agree with what eg says, but still would make an outstanding lead up fwd, can see him spending time in the middle and on the wing but his best position especially with an improved tank would be CHF, could really run his opponent into the ground and become nroo like...?

wont start him but may be a bandwagoneer and jump on pretty quick...

Trust Ric and co's opinions, but was a bit shocked to hear about a move to the mids. Thought he would be too tall and heavy for much mid time.  Might have underestimated him, but is this a likely possibility?
