Was Crouch's disposal the reason for his slipping down predictions?

That's pretty interesting Rico! I guess a lot of the guys averaging that number of disposals in the AFL are like Boyd/Fyfe/Cotchin who have poorer disposal efficiency because of the pressure they get put under when disposing of the ball...

I think the other knock on Crouch was that he had a poorer beep test/fitness level than was expected of him and he's a bit slow by the sounds of it?

Yeah, clubs aren't sure whether his running is good enough.

Arguably the best ball winner though, just finds the pill everywhere.

Iv played with plenty of lazy captains.  Saints could easily pass considering there are similar players all around him they could take.

Stats can be a bit deceiving. Crouch only played 2 games in the Champs which is hardly a decent sample size. In the TAC this year his overall disposal efficiency was 68% but he had a kicking efficiency of just 41.9%.

Stingrays coaches had to stop him doing contact work in warm-ups, fearing that he would injure team mates.
