Waited 5 years for a boring fight. Manny looked like he could go another 20 rounds... Split screen of him before and after the fight would have looked identical.

Freddie Roach needed to tell him to go hard in the last few rounds though. Was never going to get the decision.

Just got back from the pub

What a boring fight

I'm not into boxing at all, but Mayweather just spent 12 rounds defending. Zero offence

I think 6-7 rounds in Pacman was in front, but Mayweather for the entire fight just defended his way to a win

Boring and disappointing. That fight did nothing for both of them, except fill their pockets

Overall, a flop

What do you expect Mayweather to do? Change his style to please the crowd?

RaisyDaisy

Like I said, I'm not a boxing fan and don't follow it relentlessly, but overall that fight was poor as a random person without a background watching in

If that was a match of the century, then boxing is crap

Jay

How about the shower cow who interviewed Manny at the end. The level of disrespect...

Jay

I still think it was closer than the scorecards indicate. Floyd outboxed Pacman but 118-110 is a ridiculous score. Manny landed the bigger shots.

I agree Marcz, Floyd won the fight but most of his "power shots" were as if he hit Manny with a pillow.

I had it 115-113 Mayweather.

neither took damage, that is boxing these days, this is the exact fight i pictured, boxing is soooooooo unentertaining these days, id take 1  round of UFC over 12 of boxing, i love boxing but it showers me to tears, too many belts, too many fighters that dont fight with their balls... Floyd barely got puffed for all the loot he just pocketed

I actually had Floyd in my multi because $1.55 was too good to pass up for a dude that's undefeated but as did most, my heart wanted Pacquiao :-\ I'll take the cash when GSW get up tomorrow morning but man, this fight had a 5 year lead up and turned into a track and field contest/pillow fight.

Floyd just announced he's relinquishing all his titles. Might make the welterweight division a bit more interesting! No word on who his final fight will be against in September but I think it'll be Manny again. That's what I want to see, even though today was unanimous Pacman is still the most likely to beat him. Gotta be even more aggressive next time though, he fought at Floyd's pace today.

I don't care.

Pacman is past his best. Mayweather will win and no one will care.

I seriously would rather watch an Anthony Mundine fight than this farce, at least you know they're set up going in.

I rest my case

Got Floyd by points/decision as $2.03 in my multi. But bloody Essendon stuffed that up.

it was literally Green Vs Mundine 2, everyone was on Green and Mundine was always gonna win :-X

tbh i dont care that he gave up his belts, i dont care he says he will stop at 49-0 i think that is dumb, keep racking up wins stacking them bills, boxing sucks these days anyways

Nope. I have far better things to do with my life than waste my time on a joke. Like.....well literally anything really
