I got Nat pick 54 and 70 right. I want to use 70 to promote, but I want to skip 54. So should I just use 54 to promote and then skip 70? But I want to skip 54 so I get rookie 54 instead of compo picks ??

you should PASS on 54 so you get that pick in the rookie draft if you can use it there and upgrade with pick 70.

I wasn't sure if you skip as pick, then you are not allowed to use anymore picks after that, even a rookie promotion, but that's good news then.

that might be an AFL rule but i don' think so GWS skipped picks which was bizzare then picked a player last pick of the draft, so obviously ok for them to do it and no AXVS rule saying you cant

No, he was an academy selection, which is an exception to the rule. IN the AFL, if you pass, you cannot take another selection unless its one of the following 3 things.

1) Rookie Upgrade
2) Zone Selection
3) Academy Selection

That was read out on draft night. :)
