METAL IN THE RUNNING FOR TWO FROM TWO

2013 has proved to be a very successful year for the Swedish Metal as they managed to win their very first EXV Premiership Title. As Nails and the coaching board push for a second year at the top, it was vital to start the trading period strong and alert for talent. Recently the Metal were able to confirm their first trade for the season. Looking for experience and depth to add to the line-up, we would like to welcome Daniel Giansiracusa. Despite him considering leaving the AFL, he has decided to push on for one more year and we are looking forward to what he can bring to the club. With Daniel comes, young prospect Luke Tapscott. The former defender of the Greek has found a new home at Sweden where we are eager to watch him thrive. Unfortunately as we bring in two exciting players, we are forced to let one go. Jonathan O'Rourke, the number 2 draft pick in the 2012 EXV National Draft has officially left the Metal. We are disappointed to see him go but wish him all the best at his new club.

COMPETITION ELITES JOIN THE METAL

After much discussion the Swedish Metal have successfully sealed their second trade for the period bringing in two superstars. It is with much excitement that the Metal welcomes Dane Swan and Jack Riewoldt. Swan needs little introduction, the title of the #1 midfielder in the competition in 2013 simply proves his immense talent. Along with an elite midfielder came a very talented forward in Jack Riewoldt. After a great year, Jack managed to be a strong contestant yet again in the Coleman Medal race. We are stoked to have him at the club and are looking forward to the damage he will do for Sweden.

Head Coach, Nails spoke earlier at a press conference regarding his thoughts after sealing the deal with the Roulettes.
Quote''Dane Swan was too hard to ignore and will help us with the captaincy of the Metal in the future, something which previously was an issue. Getting JRoo was also huge for us. Getting the Riewoldt cousins to be able to play together in our forward line should ensure great chemistry among the offense.''

Unfortunately the Swedish Metal have been forced to give up a several future prospects in order to obtain Swan and Riewoldt. We would like to thank superstar forward, Jeremy Cameron along with young gun teammate, Adam Treloar and promising defender Tom McDonald. Luke Tapscott has spent a solid 12 hours at the Metal but we felt letting him go was for the best. Nails and the coaching board are certain the elite forces they have introduced to the club can fill the shoes of the players that they have moved on.

Nails

This was actually the 2nd year of Euros Vinny, not the 1st. Sorry to disappoint :(
