I was talking a bit tongue in cheek, what should have happened was a reevaluation of the deal though... I don't think the deal could have just been reversed- in this situation it wouldn't have been an issue, but hypothetically picks/ players could have been ontraded, and other teams could have gotten really screwed over by reversing a trade because of your mistake, which would have been unfair to them, and subsequently the fairest way to resolve it would have been through a re-evaluation of the initial trade rather than just reversing it.

but the only picks traded so far have been 10 and 11, and nobody skipped in the first round :P

Well we probably wont end up using pick 41 (or whatever it is after its recalculated) so you can have that instead. I think what I initially did was looked at our national picks and assumed the picking order would be the same in the rookie draft. We had nat 40 so I assumed we had r40

Macedonia gives: Matt Scharenberg

Disappointed to be losing Shiel, but he was 6-8 in our list of developing mids, while DPP changes have hurt us a lot and we need defenders. Some rate Sharenberg as the best prospect in this years draft, others think he went too high. It's a gamble, but we think he will be akin to Brendon Goddard in a couple of years.
