any chance of Dusty Martin ending up at the Pies?
Mick seems pretty set on Daisy imo
Ahhh.....Mick's not at the Pies....... ???

Vinny

Maybe he means since Mick is set on Daisy, it makes space in the Pies salary cap allowing them to afford Dusty. So Yes :P

specky92

Aaaand flower,  ::) Still... Can't see dusty at somewhere like the pies

Spite

Buckley has just tried to clear our the brat pack and talks about the culture... as much as I would love Dusty, surely someone who did the jailhouse salute in the final round of the year would not be the type of person Buckley would want at the club

Forgive and/or correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Kraks do it once upon a time?  ???

Fairly sure he did. I remember Michael Gardiner doing it.

Toga

Yeah pretty sure Kraks, Goddard, Gardiner & Hibberd have done it in the past?

I'm pretty sure there's a decent list of players who done the salute. Pretty sure Michael Hibberd did it earlier this year, Dusty did... Probably a couple more this year alone, not to mention past years.

Vinny

Buckley is a just not a good coach IMO not just because I dislike the Pies :P but being serious here.

I think some of Collingwood players agree with you.....It's not a "culture" issue. Culture was fine with those players when Mick was there...When a side is inconsistent is terms of a team effort is usually means you have lazy players or the message from the coach isn't getting through to some of them. I suspect its the latter

Vinny

I mean the man said after the GC game. " We should have tagged Ablett "

::)

Come on, haha!

"Culture issues" can also be ignored a bit when the team is on top of its game. The fact Collingwood now have dropped off a bit from the Top 4, team harmony issues tend to become more in focus.

Vinny

Yeah culture issues is a shower excuse to be honest. Getting rid of Shaw over the incident over the weekend is a little extreme. He isn't the worst coach ever but he makes some bad decisions. :P

If there are players who aren't happy with Buckley they better get used to it or leave as I can't see Eddie sacking Buckley any time soon ;)  :-*

Issue may be forced though Rusty similar to Voss at Lions.
