What kind of exchange of draft picks?  :o I'm thinking maybe The giants 2nd rounder for collingwood's daisy pick

I say push, so I mean like 9th or so... just enough to make people sweat.

Geelong, Wce, adelaide, port

:P

GC do have quite a crazy midfield too, but no doubt there is plenty of talent at GWS. Most of it is under-estimated too.

GWS will push for finals in 2015-2016 IMO.

Ziplock

there's monstrous midfield talent at gws.

I really wish we'd been able to nab people like chappy/ cross/ didak as well as shaw (who looks like coming) + mumford... I really think we could have actually been competitive :P

Devon Smith is one of the very underrated ones. Gun.

I very much doubt that to be honest. I think the swap will be trivial - gaining one side or the other a few spots at best.

Derek Hine is very, very good at what he does. #respect

News coming through that Shaw and Adams will be a straight swap.

Collingwood have made a deal seeing us gain pick #6 and #40 for pick #11 and #27 to West Coast.

Pick #40 to then be on traded to Jessie White.

Looking very strong in the draft now with pick #6 and #10.

BREAKING

Jesse White will become a Collingwood player as early as Monday, with the Magpies gaining the Sydney forward in a three-way trade that also has netted the Magpies pick No. 6 in the national draft.

Collingwood, West Coast and Sydney have agreed to a deal in which the Pies will move from pick 11 to pick 6, the Eagles will gain pick 31 from Collingwood, and Sydney will receive West Coast's pick 44. The Pies have also given up pick 49.

White, 25, has agreed to terms of a three-year contract with Collingwood, which plans to use him as support for Travis Cloke in attack and potentially further upfield.

Just recapping a three-way trade which will be lodged Monday;

COLLINGWOOD:
IN: Pick 6, Jesse White
OUT: Pick 11 (WCE), Pick 31 (WCE), 49 (WCE)

WEST COAST:
IN: Pick 11, 34, 49
OUT: Pick 6 (COLL), 44 (SYD)

SYDNEY
IN: Pick 44
OUT: Jesse White (COLL)

Derek Hine is my new god.

MC

Amazing deal for Collingwood. Pick 49 is effectively useless, and they've basically traded a mid-30s for Jesse White AND moved into the top 10 of the draft. Sweet.

Vinny

Good deal for the Pies. Sucks for Sydney, they got nothing pretty much. :P
