History
2008/9 Redden was selected with pick 25 in the 2008 National draft. In round 15 2009, Redden made his debut. Since then he has not missed a match.
2010 Redden was nominated for rising star in round 15. He led the Lions in tackles and was ranked 3rd at the club for inside 50s. He finished 5th in the club champion award.
2011 2011 has been considered as a break out season for Redden. He again led the club in total tackles and finished third in the Lions Best and Fairest Award, only 2.5 votes behind winner, Tom Rockliff and half a vote behind runner up Simon Black.
2012 Reddan led the Lions in Tackles, Clearances and disposals. He was crowned the Lions Players Player of the Year, and the Members Player of the Year. He came 4th in the Best and Fairest.
2013 Reddan again led the club in tackles, and had the second most disposals. He came 3rd in the Lions best and fairest, his 4th consecutive top 5 placing.

Verdict: I hope I can fit him in, but with 2 byes, I can't have too many Lions Players  :-[
Richo's Predicted Average: I can see him getting back to his 2011/12 scores, 105

Yeah another Lion to seriously consider, will manage an acceptable score on tackles alone, never misses and worth considering IMO

Windigo

I don't think he flourished under Voss.

Adamant

Loved him as a unique in 2011 when he averaged 109, but now he gets too many 70-80s and not enough big tons to bump his average past 105. Much better options now imo.

Not for me.

He will be cheap for what he can produce but I think Moloney in the Lions outfit really hampered his scoring. Could be a couple of years before we see him start to slay it again!

On the 500 players long watch-list :P

Similar to Jack Trengove imo

Will be an A grader with a proper coach, Dt wise? Well he had a great year before this but a brave man to start him!

m_zulian

Had him all year. One of the most consistent dt players in the game. But there are probably better options next year.

I was going to ask if there was a particular reason for his lower scoring output this season, but I think you've nailed it  ;)

Yeah but so will Cotchin (lock for me next year) and I'd choose Cotchin over Redden 9.95/10 times if I had to get one ;)

haha I never considered the Moloney factor. I think you're spot on there because I thought it was either Voss or Redden was dropping (could be a combination of the three but the biggest contributor to his decline is obviously Moloney, good observation man) :)

i dont think anyone flourished under voss.

lions will be very attractive under a new coach, not sure about this guy, think he could step it up in SC but another one of those players who does too much inside hard work to be elite in DT?

tho he did have that season of eliteness i wont be picking him in 2014

From an outsider these where my thoughts also. Even more of a risk if Black goes around again and the new coach releases Rocky into the midfield.

HBTD22

Had a chat to him in town last weekend down here in Adelaide and he told me that he'd try and score even better in Dream Team next year! Haha ;)

Rocky should be released into the midfield but there is no black... he definitely should be considered, but he probably won't make my R1 team
