QuoteTHE AFL Commission will consider allowing any disgruntled Essendon players to leave the club as delisted free agents following a request by the AFL Players Association.

AFL boss Andrew Demetriou said the AFLPA had told him there were Bombers players who wanted out of the club, which was banned from this year's finals as part of its heavy sanctions for its supplements program

This could be huge, Daniher is a name i am hearing that wants out

Ringo

Will be huge wonder when they will announce themselves as free agents.

this is just getting worse for the Bombers
No draft picks and what sounds like quite a few players wanting to leave.

Ryder and Heppell I heard but don't believe it

Mr.Craig

If it is true then there'll be an almighty feeding frenzy.

Can't remember where I heard it, might have even been through Barrett on the Footy Show last night, but Winderlich's a long way off re-signing.

Different reasons though he wants 2 years club only wants to give one

Apparently a few teams interested in giving him two years

He probably dropped the pen on the floor and is too scared to bend down to pick it up. His back or hamstrings would bust under the strain.

Heppell I'd highly doubt, Ryder I would believe.
Carlisle I doubt, but it's feasible (sit's somewhere between Heppell and Ryder on the likelihood-to-leave-scale)

Daniher chose Essendon not long ago, and wouldn't have thought he would have been a part of the program running at the club in 2011, seems fairly attached to the club from what I've seen - sort of feels like a rumour somebody decided to stir up simply because it would cause such a ruckus if he did opt out. But you never know.

I wonder what will happen if it starts to come down to 'Well if Hird is coming back in 2015 then I'm not'..

EDIT: Just saw this.

Judging by that, players not a part of the 2011-2 program would most likely not be considered a 'player aggrieved by exceptional circumstances' (ie. Daniher, Goddard)
