Haha I know, we won't be getting him. :P

But if he did go to the draft and the other Vic clubs let him slide, how I'd love for Richmond to snatch him from the Bluebaggers' grasp! >:D

Richmond have a pick one higher in the draft >:D

#GoTiges #StickItUpThemBlues

Because the saints and bulldogs will let him slide that far :P

Was wondering what was happening with Carlton and Docherty. My ideal situation would be for the bulldogs to take Crameri in the PSD and get Docherty with our second round pick(26). Happy dayssss

News starting to filter through from Brisbane that they will not accept Carlton's offer of pick 31 or 32 and may now force Docherty to the mercy of the draft.

where did you hear that from

Nooooo! Hope that is not true. :(

Feel for the Lions. To have that many walk out at once would be gutting.

Thanks Enzedder the long term implications are what will hurt,  Short term a lot of these guys would not have made Brisbanes best 22 but were the future and we have to rebuild again so that ius why we are trying to get best possible return for these players,

Absolutely. It will prolong the list's development. The guys leaving have potentially long careers ahead of them. Brisbane has put work into them for other clubs to reap the rewards. I'm not sure of the contract status of them all but appears on the surface that you have little bargaining room. As a Saint's man I know Longer can walk for nothing. Only the fact that we don't have first pick and also wanting Bruce atm who is uncontracted can offer some hope that Saints may offer pick #18 or #19. Time will tell but Pelchen has wanted 3 1st round selections from the outset and has more or less stated they're off limits...#25 for a #8 pick with two years development at a club that wants to keep him may not be right but still may get it done.

Nice read mate and I think that will end up being the deal for Longer. If we can get picks in the top 25/30 given this years draft for these players then I am happy.

Carlton get a steal. Docherty will be a star at the Blues.

Was always going to be Carltons 2nd Round pick which is the best we could have hoped for.  Know we are getting screwed but this is the best we can get and i rather pick 33 than nothing. Admittedly other clubs may have picked him up but we get nothing if he walks to PSD.
