I guess it depends on weather Brisbane want to target a replacement for Docherty in Scharenburg which is possible at pick 4. That Spud could be the next Sam Mitchell or Dane Swan? hehe

Think Docherty will be better suited at Dogs than the blues. Not sure of the proposed trade as I think it disadvantages the Doggies.

Just heard that too Meow not sure whether it will be a straight trade or not but do not think we can ask for any more.  As I said Docherty will suit you more than Carlton.  He will give you plenty of run and is a good kick. Was not given the opportunities at Lions he should of with Voss's rotating door policy.

Docherty wants to go to Carlton so a deal between us probably won't come about. I think he's a good fit for us though, we really need someone who can replace Murphy and Goodes since Howard isn't going to make it. JJ looks okay but Docherty was elite in the juniors and has higher upside.

I guess the Blues are looking to replace Scotland and Simpson so he is also a good fit there too.

Yep I'm happy with Daisy and getting Docherty would be sweeeet too.

Also happy with a second rounder pick for Hammer but losing Megan Gale hurts.

Not sure what Bulldogs will offer but if they trump pick 28 then pressure back on Carlton.  Personally think Docherty is worth a bit more than pick 28.  Brisbane can afford to play hardball as Docherty will not want to go into drafts and risk being picked up by other clubs.
