We've been through all this before. Koop could have probably gotten a better deal for Cotchin from someone. However this deal was not uneven enough to throw out, and you may find that Koop's team does benefit from it in the end. Football is a funny game and you never know what is going to happen next year or the year after that.

So let's wait and see how it all turns out before everyone bashes the trade.

Yep, that trade wasn't too bad, definitely not as bad as the Masten, Blair for Harper and Motlop trade  :P

motlop is way better than blair - told you all he would be.

now we just need harper to kick on and the trade is not as bad as you all made out  ::)

they did sign harper until the end of 2015and he was looking good after playing 23 games in 2012  time will tell....

Been thinking about doing it for awhile as i had a hunch it would be a fairly good team, just to show that you should have faith in your drafting skills because as you can see they were quite good ;)

Really disappointed with the treatment koops gets here. A kid who does so much for a lot of people really deserves better than this.

Very poor form.

It's all good Rids, everyone here does like koop.

i think that is why they try to point out things they may "feel" he is doing wrong - becasue he is a good guy and they care.

lots of people cop pretty close to genuine abuse here and while it is still friendly enough and banter it is quite harsh at times.

i rarely if ever see koop copping any such harsh treatment.

If koop is upset over anything and for that matter if anyone is ever upset by anything that happens here they can contact BB or I and it WILL be addressed.

but as I say i have no doubt everyone here loves koop, and only have his best interests at heart.

and koop has a pretty thick skin, he is not the only one to get pasted over trades.

I myself have copped some flack over gettig fleeced by the evil dreaded JROO8   ;D

Thanks Colli, but as you said, Im un-wavered by this, doesnt bother me,  not sure why so much fuss is being made, while I know most have my best interests at heart there are probably 1 or 2 who need to be shoved off a cliff. ;D

No one here hates Koop, He knows its just banter. This is what makes Asian the best comp, If you are after a competition without any banter go join club penguin  ;)

Or Dan Nicholson for Chris Mayne. I still think I got just about the best trade of all there.

:( Mayne was pretty ordinary in 2012 so he just improved heaps. Who says he goes back to his previous form and Nicholson can turn good and I did the trade cause Elephants recommended it for me lol.

I just want to say that I made the statement as a reference of trading your best players out for lesser players. It wasn't meant to come out at Koop, it was just the example I could of think of at the time. Sorry to Koop and others.
