Reasoning is a bit sentimental as Derickx is an old school mate of mine and given he was picked up by the Swans today I thought I'd love to have him in my team.

However, he's also now the second ruck at Sydney and could very well see some action in the coming seasons. Had 60 hitouts in one VFL game last year. Though I expect the Swans to go with a Pyke/Tippett combo for most of the season if one of those guys gets injured he could play.

We do also actually need another ruckman as we de-listed Stephensen and Osborn leaving us with just Kreuzer, Jolly (if he gets picked up) and Tom Campbell.
