Hey Colli,

I've got a favour to ask.

Are you able to tell me/confirm the status of my list movements for the second period when you get a chance please.

It might be a little unorthodox but I'm doing all my trading this period due to wanting to pick up better/more draft picks because of all the players we'll be drafting.

Also knowing the state of my list heading into the draft will be handy.

I think I should have left 1 in and two outs for Trade Period 2. This is what I've got down as happening next period.

Part of the Ablett deal has this happening

Coniglio+Murdoch IN
Ablett+Enright OUT

Also as part of Lycett/Rosa deal

McGlynn OUT
Guthrie IN

And the Lewis/Gumby deal

Colquhoun IN

newnes should get def/mid status next season.

if seedsman does it will only be for one season, he is a midfielder for the pies going fwd no question.

trade looks to favour jroo8 a lot, but i think it only does a little.

hutchings averaged 120, newnes 80 (close enough), both best 22 players in rebuilding clubs, young and both starred at the lower level and as youths.

got to do a bit of reading to understand the value of these two players, i am speculating but i like them so happy to do the deal.

the rook pick i dont even need wont use it, but now i will try turn my rook pick #20 and this rook pick #24 into a rook pick in the low teens. in a two for one deal, so then the trade can also benefit me with a rookie pick upgrade into the teens.

we will see. Jroo wins, but i never claimed to be any good at this :)  and i do like the players i got . not that uneven when you look at the potential of who i got.

I thought Jroo won easy on the trade without Seedsman getting DPP

Memphistopheles

Thanks Colli.

I couldn't see the list movements part 2 bit. Maybe I looked at the wrong thing.

Colliwobblers

seedsman averaged 104  /  hutchings averaged 120

newnes averaged 78 / grigg averaged 118

CW gives 222

JROO gives 198

CW gets rookie 24

3 of those players have improvement in them, grigg is not one of them.

pretty even i would say. but jroo does win it not by enough to get excited about?  :)

plenty of articles like these i could show you: newnes:

http://www.saints.com.au/news/2013-10-03/2013-review-jack-newnes

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-07-19/a-newnes-leader-for-saints

and then there is hutchings:

http://www.wafl.com.au/players/view/2008

just a snapshot on him.

but some facts:

AFL average SB 2013 = 120+

runner up in sandover medal in 2012 and  best and fairest at his club.

6th most disposals in wafl in 2012, 2nd in kicks, 4th in clearances, 4th in tackles, 5th for marks, (yes in the entire WAFL) 2012.

more than 20 disposals in all but 4 of his 20 games in 2012.

captain of WA in U18 champs.

he should turn out ok. I'm betting on it anyway ;)

Yeah, but JRoo's offer was pretty good IMO. I really rate Sylvia and reckon he'll explode at Freo. Sandi is old and injury prone, but he'll be decent ruck cover and having the Sandi/Griffin combo as back-up can't hurt. Edwards was just there to get the deal done and give us another depth forward, but he still has potential.
