Nek year

Sells Jroo to get Hartlett + Knights.

Hmmm?

Whut?
I got Selwood off you in a straight swap for Jroo. Then you trade him next year for Hartlett and Knights...

So what are you saying wins? ???
Not sure... That's why I went 'Hmmm'

Probably Scooter's 142 ave.

Toga

Oh right haha I thought you might be saying it was either a bad trade or a trade rape but I didn't think it was either :P

Scooter has the higher avg atm but HHart was 110 this year, has room for improvement... While Knights could be a gun if he stays fit, but it's a big if :-\

Justin Bieber

Scooter came 7th in midfielders this year.

Meh not bad.

JBs-Hawks

Obviously getting Scooter was a big win but that's looking at it in hindsight ;)

Sad to see this guy go, but think it's for the best, as I felt that my midfield depth was a bit shaky. Here we go:

MONGOLIAN LAMBS give: Jack Riewoldt + Jack Newnes

UAE TIGERS give: Hamish Hartlett + Chris Knights

JROO8 to confirm.

I know Hartlett will be mid only this year but he will slot nicely into a utility position, while the loss of Jack Roo is (slightly) softened by adding Knights to our forward line if he's fit. I think our forwards are a strength of ours however and think that we will be able to cope with the loss of Riewoldt as Charlie Dixon will be moving from our defense to the forward line this season.

**EDIT: Due to JROO's list movement situation I think we have to process this trade in the second trade period...
Confirmed, Jroo would like to welcome Jroo  :D 8)

Nice trade guys, JRoo gets his man while Toga adds a young quality mid and handy forward (if fit) to his squad.

Excellent work guys!

Quick explanation of this trade...

Bangkok was after a captain choice that also fitted our age focus of the team. Nost and I believe that Cotchin is perfect in regards to meeting these needs.

Kathmandu required a premium back that complimented their other backs and Harry O fitted that bill. Polec was taken with pick 5 a few drafts ago, never got the opportunity to have constant football and will no doubt be a gun in 2014 and for years to come. Koops also had an eye on someone in the preseason draft so rook pick 3 was added to the deal.

All in all Nost and I think that this deal is very win win for both teams. Cheers to koops and specky for all the dealings we have had over the last few days. Been a long discussion but one that will hopefully hold both teams in good stead.

How is that better than Broadbent + Monfries?   :o

^

Eskimos sold their best player.

#tanking

Clearly trying to make sure the Llamas don't get Pick 1 next year.  :o

Jroo

What!!
It's not too bad but surely Cotch is worth a little more.
Nice trade by Nost and Rids.
