THE AFL careers of Nick Lower, Lukas Markovic and Patrick Veszpremi could be over after the trio, as well as veteran Daniel Cross, were cut by the Western Bulldogs on Tuesday.

What happened to Lower? He seemed to have found a role as the team's number 1 tagger, taking down a couple of stars in the process, and then all of a sudden he was out of the team and now de-listed  ???

I'm presuming the Dog's strong emphasis on youth moving forward sees him not a part of their future?

At 26 - Lower is hardly old

Patrick getting delisted means the Swans got a good deal in the swap for Everitt I guess....

Mitch Wallis overtook Lower as the number one tagger. He does it Scooter style and helps himself to plenty of possessions in the process.

Lower is a one trick pony with no upside and no development left in him.
Maybe there is a position for him on next year's Big Brother  ::)

Poor Nick. His brother will be devastated lol.

I reckon a club will pick him up in the pre-season or rookie draft (like the Tigers did with Petterd)... or possibly DFA. 26 years of age, never gonna be a star... maybe worth it for someone like GWS?

I hope so for the sake of the KL Crocs fwd line depth, or lack of it

Mailman the 2nd

Not sure, to not get games in the WB forward-line, I'll be surprised if he gets another chance
