DT Stats v Opponents

Was promising to have a good year this year after a solid 2012 but the tag killed him.
Despite that he still managed to be 4th for disposals for WCE.

Until he learns to deal with or beat the tag he'll not be a good pick. But keep an eye on him during the season to see how he is going because he has the potential to be a good pickup at some point.

2014 Fan Planner Price $379,200

its me lads

Might be a Stephen Hill. Just get tagged every week.

Rusty00

With Shuey back in the team it might take some of the tags away from him. However until Gaff proves he can beat the tags, they will keep coming to him.

pommyadam

can't beat the tag, but will be nicely priced at ~350k for 2014's Moloney

may be worth it, but will check NAB for form

popedelio

Gaff needs to show he can play inside and start playing on ball to win his own footy. The only way you can beat a tag is when you can play both. He did start to have some stints at center clearances, I bet it will be an area he will be looking to improve in the pre season. Definitely keep an eye on him.

Very good comparison.

Because he is an outside player he cannot use traffic or teammates as much to break the tag.
It will take him a few more years to build a big enough fitness base to exploit opponents that way

zeddyzed

A positional change, maybe def/mid would see him become much more relevant. He has a massive tank, so eventually he'll break the tags... he's definitely more of an outside player, skinny too. Can't see him playing inside and being effective

Colliwobblers

worst call of the 2013 preseason:

Colli "Gaff could average the most DT points of any Eagle"

well maybe if he wasnt tagged mercilessly all season...

but i maintain this kid will be super elite, looking at this season i'd be waiting another after it for him to get the body and tank and smarts to get himself free..
