DT Stats v Opponenta

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

It appears that WCE 2012 fairest and best Scooter has been released from tagging duties this year.
And it reflects in his DT scoring as he was the 5th highest averaging DT non DPP midfielder for the year behind Swan,Ablett,Pendles and Montagna yet only 5.34% of coaches had him in their team.
3rd highest disposal at West Coast for the season
7th highest for marks at WCE
1st in tackles at Eagles and 5th overall for AFL great for DT points
Not really a goal kicking mid but makes up for that with tackles
And not a very flattering stat but 5th overall in AFL for frees for(43) his brother Joel takes the honor of highest with 62

I think he is a lock next year if you can fit him in amongst the growing number if mids that have stepped up this year.

One of my favourite players now, absolute jet and a definite lock for me next year! He is a player than can smash teams and rack up a huge score, he already averaged 112 if you take his first 2 games of the year so I actually wouldn't be that surprised if he continues the pattern of averaging 10 more points per year especially being only 23 years old!

its me lads

Scooter looking like a real good DT'er. Technically a tagger i guess but when you rack it up like he does then it doesn't matter. On the radar for next year!

Had him all 2012 and he annoyed me, got him in for the GF this season and picked up a nice 125 and I have to say I was a year off when I picked him. Fantastic player and if nothing goes wrong a definite lock for me next season :)

Colliwobblers

Didnt honestly think this guy would ever be DT elite, but he "almost" proved me wrong this season. Would not be surprised to see him improve his numbers again next season.

someone has to tag, wellingham sure isn't going to be the one, adam is gone.....  only concern i have.

Ricochet

Had a huge season. Only reason I won't be starting with him is there are quite a few under priced premium mids.
Beams, Murphy, Boyd, Cotchin, Ablett, Stanton plus others

Definite upgrade option

Bluddy Scooter! Started you then traded you in pannik! :(  Might try again next year!

Completely agree. Is now a very good option, but will be comparatively expensive. Hoping for a similar start to the year, price drop, then bring him in after a few rounds.

Cotchin will be my first lock of next season along with Wingard of course (if he gains DPP status)

A good option for sure, probably more an upgrade than a starter for me though. Has the potential to be a dt gun  :)

I hope I can get him in at some point :) Selwood brothers on one team!

i had that this year.... for one round

urrrmed and aaahed about bringing Scooter in (started with Jelwood) and finally did for his game vs Hawthorn - after waiting until after his bye (wasn't convinced by any rd11ers, and Scooter was definaately on the radar as my JOM upgrade)
lasted one week :(

Priced at 108 avg, I won't be starting with him. Should maintain about a 110 avg for the year, but with the mass exodus at the eagles, and other underpriced mids, Scooter will be an upgrade target for me.
