Pick whoever you want man. You get unlimited trades every week so you can pretty much restart your squad after every week. That is the only way to make the comp work.

Yeh exactly, pick it more in reference to the upcoming match. The squads will change so much given sides will have weeks off etc.

Interesting, Im thinking of picking 3 non playing players (the cheapest possible) in the backline and this allows me to buy 4 premos in the midfield

There is plenty of bargains mate! Don't think copping zeros are necessary.
