A colleague of mine has a team that I reckon is in with a shot of beating the highest round score so far of 2,757.

His score so far is 2,017, with both VC and C choices remaining, and the following players to come:

Ablett
Pendlebury
Griffin
Dixon
Terlich

The last time each of the above players played the same team today in 2013, they scored 160, 160, 142, 148 and 107 respectively.

If I make the following lower estimates, I put the total score at 2,762 pts:

Ablett - 125 pts
Pendlebury (C) - 300 pts (150 x 2)
Griffin - 130
Dixon - 100
Terlich - 85

Ok thing's have to be fairly lucky, but it's not completely out of the realms of possibility given today's games are all 'nothing' games.

So what does the Fanfooty community reckon? In with a shot?

And most importantly, who to captain?

I'm recommending him to put the VC on Ablett, and then probably Pendlebury for C.  However, the pies don't need to win and so Pendlebury might be subbed or just have a quiet one to reduce risk of injury.  Then again, because it's a nothing game it might be quite free flowing, and the pies might want a confidence booster win.

The other choice is Griffin, who is against the lowly Melbourne (albeit with the tagger McKenzie) and the Bulldogs will want to finish on a high note.

He would have to be in there with a chance just need Terlich and Dixon rip out big scores , as for captain and vice Ablett for VC then toss the coin with Pendles and Griffin

I should also point out that this guy has used two trades this round and still has 4 trades left!

Good luck, I need Dixon to have a big score too  :)

Dixon 51 has hurt your chances. Hopefully he had the C on GAJ anyway!
