Great for the Melbourne football club.

- two years, one optional. Then someone will take over, succession plan style.
- Wants Wattsy and Sylvia to stay.
- Goal: to get this footy club competitive above all.
- Prepared to trade pick 2 for midfield depth...

The second and last points are interesting.

Good on Melbourne for getting him, he's probably the right man for the job.

They sure are, the trading of picking 2 was more in reference if they got the priority pick, having said that Roos said he's be up for trading that (and keep 2) so he's intent on getting a name player. Yeh he will create the culture they need.

And the best part about this, Paul Roos will no longer commentate about how good Sydney are  ::)

Oh I know! Tipped them for the flag in the sun haha..

Yeh KB, they'll be right on the radar. The Blues will be very keen on Daisy but you never know, the Dees could be the beneficiary of some disgruntled bomber players who knows.

No mention of getting rid of some of the stiff shirts running the club, who really don't care as long as they can wear the red and blue tie.
Not only the football team that needs a shake up.

Daisy wouldn't have a significant impact

So there's going to be a succession plan, makes one wonder who they'll get. Perhaps Adam Simpson?

Ringo

Do not be surprised if Voss does not turn up as assistant coach. Has openly stated he will be happy to be an assistant coach at another club.

An injury free Daisy would.

Watch the 2010 grand finals (both of them), and tell me that again with a straight face! An outside player like Daisy with speed, flair, skill and hard at the ball is just what Demons - and any team - need.
