Jason is an uncontested player

wut u mean?

This comp rewards players that win their own ball, JJ is a good player but he's not one of these lads.

To be honest we think Yeo will be on a similar level as JJ. But, the fact that he is a bit further ahead in his development and a likely best 22 player this season whereas JJ's spot is still uncertain (at least till Bob Murphy retires) swayed us.

I think it's a pretty fair trade. Georgiou and Herbert are both unknown quantities at the moment - Nails happened to like Herbert and we happened to like G.

Oh I'm not debating the trade man, just elaborating on what Lez said ;)

Nails

tbh thought we were combining DT/SC when I put that trade through 5 minutes ago as that was the last communication I had received on what scoring system we would use  ::)

I'd put Johan in the same type of player as Murphy and Murphy scores fine. Johan does get contested possies too

Was also putting out some pretty good numbers towards the end. Johan averaged 73 something with his injury sub game included. He's a gun to be.

And Herbert gun too.

@ Memph - I'd say JJ is ahead of Yeo tbh. JJ was a lock in his best 22 playing like all games possible until season ender. He's a gun

We'll see mate :P Yeo seems to be a certain starter for West Coast. Never been the greatest scorer in his career so far though which is the main issue.

lol, assumed that was the case. How about you check the BXV boards once in a while then..? ::)

I'd have made the trade whether it was the case or wasn't. Johan 6ppg average better and including his showerty sub injury game. I also rate Johan as you'll notice I have him in another FF XVs team and pretty sure I have him in AXVIIIs too and also attempted to acquire him in the other XVs comps

It's the first and only trade I've made in BXVs and purely for the fact Johannisen was involved.

I know :( I asked about JJ today but Memph didn't get back to me! How could I compete with a new Eagle in Yeo anyway haha

You couldn't :P

Justin Bieber

Point is, sportal is for the contested guys. JJ is uncontested nut. But doesn't get the hard ball often.

Nails

Yeo only averages 1.4 contested possies per game more than Yeo (3.8 vs. 5.2) which isn't enough to write off the fact JJ gets more of the pill and more point racking up statistics.

Also it'd be less of a lead if you took out JJ's injury game.

JJ is the best player in the AFL.

Justin Bieber

I don't give a shower about Yeo. Very overrated IMO.

Ringo

Great banter guys - sticking to the facts and no personal attacks. Keep it going.

JBs-Hawks

Yeo is a gun player, verdict still out on fantasy relevance

Ringo

From the Lions perspective i rate the young backs (including those have left as follows)

Golby, Yeo, Harwood, Clarke and Docherty for what it is worth.
