hospital staff who don't close my room door when they leave
getting my blood taken every morning
nothing being on tv until the afternoon
craving food after i see a commercial about it on tv
having the same hospital food every week
having to say my name and birth date every time i get medicine
when staff come in the room without knocking
the crazy guy in my ward that yells out all the time
not getting unlimited phone internet like you can normal internet
Not nice KB but a couple are regular requirements which we cannot avoid.  Name and birthdate is mandatory in hospitals prior to being given medication and know it gets boring.
Others are the usual hospital fare but can understand frustrations after being there for so long,

When people don't get the difference between waking up and getting up.

It should be the same thing

those people who "dont understand" the difference probably when they wake up get out of bed and get going.

So you just admitted there’s a difference.

depends who you are.

its not a difference for me. If somebody said they woke up at 8:30 am i would expect them to get out at bed at 8:30am or 8:31am.

if your telling someone when you got up in most instances its the actual getting out of bed that matters, unless your talking to your doctor about insomnia then any other medical condition and than that distinction is fine.

Definitely with Nige here. I usually do whatever on my phone for anywhere between 10 minutes (if I have somewhere to be) to an hour (if I'm not up to anything) between waking up and getting up before I get up. I'll even set my alarm early so I have enough time to go through my Youtube subs, FB notifications, messages, FF and BF, emails, discord etc - would rather do it in bed than do it when I'm out and use up data.

So what is the scenario where its annoying that people assume then when you say I woke up at XXX they assumed you got out of bed at that time?
