It's not really an excuse.

The stereotype is that non-Australian parents/families are generally stricter and prefer their child to focus of their studies a lot more, which in my experience, is pretty much the case.

And yeah, I found myself with a lot more time last year in first year uni than in year 12, I just didn't use it well.

Might as well give up altogether of you can't handle fantasy footy and year 12, how you gonna handle with that brutal uni timetable after year 12.

We must've gone to different unis (or different courses). I found first year uni I had so much more time than year 12! Year 3 of uni was hell though.

I'll wait to see what happens with this scoring system, and i'll sort out the positions for my team and stuff then i'll look into finding someone. All I'll really need is someone to update my team for late outs on a Friday.

It's not a pissweak excuse, Year 12 is a big deal, if you don't have the time to run a team, don't worry about it. I reckon Year 12 is far far more important than a fantasy competiton. Find a good assistant and you'll be right man! :)

Just settle down and do not turn this into another Personal attack on each other.  Until we get a definitive answer as to what scoring system Sportal are using we can not make a decision. It is all speculation at the moment so why stress over it until the final decision is known.

Because this bandaid fix wont last, Spreadsheets,data,downloading,calculating,patience lol. If this comp is to survive imo it needs to have a set scoring system (Dreamteam,Supercoach,Stadiumsports) and a re-draft.

I don't wanna be dick sorry mate but I think that's piss weak.

When you become a coach you stick by your team and only give up when something's really hard. This isn't the first time uve come close to giving up. Think you should toughen up abit.

Ringo and everyone are trying there best to get around this..

Guys think it time to just close on this subject and leave it as it is.  For the record though I own a band aid factory so have plenty of bandaids to keep the old Sportal  competition going if that is the way the vote goes.

Hi everyone, I made a post in the discussion thread in AXVS, you can check if you care :)

So in having done it already I won't go into detail again here, but I HAVE to leave my team, for personal life reasons, all good this time. Mainly work, just doesn't allow me the time for a XVS team, I'm no longer in AXVS either or running it.

So the point of this post other that to offer up the premiership team :)  is to say goodbye from a XVS point of view, i will stay on the site and play DT and SC this year so not goodbye forever.

The other reason for the post is to make it clear im not leaving british due to the scoring system, Ringo will work it out and the comp will be fine, it was great last season, and im sure it will continue to be great.

Might be a bandaid fix for a season, but who knows what will be created next season, public demand may bring the sportal system back in some form, just never know, plus i dont think Ringo will do anything half baked so whatever you all decide it will be a solid well run comp again in 2014 i am sure of that.

See you all around, I'll keep in touch sad to leave the comp, but better than not doing it properly and ending up getting sacked while ruining for the rest of you if i dont get round to naming a team and doing my duties through the season.
