Changing the scoring will affect my side... And would flower some of my trades... :(

If Sportal scoring is gone ?  what do you suggest we do ?

Yes that is last years they have not updated this years,  I will advise when I get the reply from Sportal and will then worry about what we do after that.  If change is required will have discussion possibly in a thread to reach a resolution on which way to go,  Until then please be patient and look at the 2013 review thread and offer suggestions comments in there to improve our first class competition.

i would prefer to keep the original scoring method our teams are based on but that is possibly an amount of work for Ringo that is simply too much to ask or expect unless a simple calculator xls can be created?

if we had to change it almost has to be SC as the closest thing to sportal original ?

I don't know if this is possible but I know the Ultimate Footy scoring system is quite customisable - you can determine what a player scores and also adjust which stats you score points for unlike other games where the scoring system is set.

If they have access to the stats we want then perhaps we could put all and then all we would have to do is get everyone here to join the league.

You can also manually determine which teams have which players so someone (the commissioner) could enter all this and then we'd all have our teams and able to see scores every week.

You could also even set the team lineups on UF every week as well and possible run future drafts (with the 24 limit set so they get skipped when it passes)

But, also for the record the UF servers/game haven't opened up again for 2014 so Sportal is not the only one to not launch their game yet.

We could still use this forum for discussion because UF doesn't have a great chat aspect.

Just a thought.

Posted in the Ultimate Footy thread that if Sportal do not come to the party may look at this with the ability to customise,  It may mean though we may have to create our own League for British to enable customisation but I will work that out. Just so long as the Age do not go the way of the HS and make you pay for articles.
