[Purple 77]

When it rains, it pours...Purple 77 involved in another trade today.

Berlin gives: Ben Reid + Andrejs Everitt

Cape Town gives: Lewis Jetta, Jeff Garlett + Pick 59

Deal suites both parties needs and is pretty fair.

From our perspective (Cape Town) we need more defenders and had excess forwards so this deal suits us nicely. Players are fairly similar and we don't think we will have much use for that pick.

Purple 77 to confirm.

Another on-trade in Reid lol, would have been a handy def/for, but when two forwards that are in their respective best 22 come up, well, I complied. Everitt may improve nicely for Carlton, but he was necessary to get the trade done.

I don't know if I have to confirm this, but I will :P

I don't think Jetta or Garlett would be starting for us due to our amazing forward line, but Reid definitely will be due to our average backline. Everitt was extras, although we do believe he could improve at Carlton and should have solid JS.

Out of interest is anyone willing to give up a high (first round) draft pick ?

And/or are there any clubs who want to pick up more draft picks? I'd be interest to hear from them if there are.

Also is the rookie draft the same order as the National draft? If so does it also include the priority picks?

Hey before this trade goes to a vote I just noticed we do not have Pick 59. I should probably have checked when you offered it to us Purple 77 but it's got to be either Pick 51 or Pick 69.

Hopefully this should be able to be fixed asap.

Also left overs from last year and players picked up in the pre-season draft I believe, although I could be wrong.

Well that's where you're wrong, and why you were wrong saying N93 was better than R22. In the rookie draft yes there are the leftovers from the international draft, but then you can also select from the preseason and rookie drafts, which you can't do in the international ;)

Oh i thought they chucked them all Rookie/ND/Preseason into the International draft? This was the stage i was only just starting to take over last season so not 100% on how it works.
