Berlin trade: Hayden Ballantyne + Maverick Weller

Seoul trade: Jarryn Geary


Well, tbh, Ballantyne was annoying the hell out of me in his 2 months at the club, saying "JB did that, and JB used to, and JB used to, and Seoul had these restaurants...

So, I cracked the showers and sent him back home.

On a serious note, I needed another defender, and Jarryn is at a nice age of 25, so there is scope for improvement and he is only half way through his career. Ballantyne is at the other end of the ground, averaging slightly less and is slightly older, so Weller, who I think could go well at the Saints provided they pick him up, makes up for that :)

When it rains, it pours...Purple 77 involved in another trade today.

Berlin gives: Ben Reid + Andrejs Everitt

Cape Town gives: Lewis Jetta, Jeff Garlett + Pick 59

Deal suites both parties needs and is pretty fair.

From our perspective (Cape Town) we need more defenders and had excess forwards so this deal suits us nicely. Players are fairly similar and we don't think we will have much use for that pick.
