Its ok Nails, you don't have to fear Dublin ::) :P

Hypothetically speaking...

What if wasn't so much fearing Dublin as it was fearing the competition being a blowout or uneven if Dublin became 'too strong'.

.. Nails? Think of others? Come on Nige :P

Rockliff will average shower next year

After his brownlow performance and actually getting midfield time he's #1 tagged 2014.

Your a lion fan so have to respect your opinion on this.

However I know what I'm doing.

Rocky I'm thinking of picking in my sc midfield next year.

His numbers when playing midfield are insane.

Pacific trade: Tom Rockliff, Luke Delaney and Pick 78
Dublin trade: Jack Redden, Michael Hurley and Sam Day

Neg on this trade.

Pick 78 essentially has zero worth. Tom Rockliff won't be a forward in the future. Maybe one more season. But with Leppa as a coach, he'll be mid only

Therefore

Last 3 seasons - Rockliff 103 average, Redden 101

Redden is (in terms of footy seasons) younger than Rockliff

Therefore Redden = Rockliff

78 = worthless

Therefore it comes down to

A guy who has played a max of 13 games in a season and has a terrible average for two guys who are both YOUNGER, actually get GAMES and actually average HIGHER

Yeah, no thanks. Neg on this trade.  Redden = Rockliff (if Redden not slightly higher)

and other 2 good solid young players for a middle agedish useless flowering hack.

Do you truly believe rocky = redden

You say he will be mid only yet when you compare averages you include all the forward games. Rocky is better than Barlow so if redden is equal if not better.

How about redden for Barlow + much more.

If the teams were the other way around and Pacific were losing Redden + Hurley + Day then i would consider negging it but you need to take into consideration the rest of their list when analyzing a trade.

I have to say, this a worry. (Real SC wise.)

Rich will attract a tag ans I would argue a lot of teams will actually go to redden over him.

I'm not sure he was actually that good to rack up the brownlow votes. I put him similar to swan, it's a joke swan got that many votes, pendles is twice the player swan is. Rocky gun fantasy but just a  good player, not an elite.

Toga

I don't think the trade was uneven enough to neg, but no way will Redden get tagged as much as Rockliff, Holz :P

Nails

Dublin still aren't in the ballpark of Mexico/Pumas/Dillos

And if you can't see this will hurt Dublin for 2014 you're crazy

enjoy your 0 average reserves holz.

Regarding Brisbane tags with the retirement of Black - Rich will always attract the number 1 tag as no team will want that lethal left boot out in the open delivering the ball on a platter. 2nd tag imo will be a toss up between Hanley and Rocky with a slight leaning towards Hanley given the breakout Hanley had this year.  He was starting to attract a tag in the last few games. My opinion for what it is worth.

Ringo is Mr Brisbane Lions so I am taking his word for it. :P

Rocky shall not get tagged folks.

Anyone who thinks Rocky=Redden is either an idiot or knows nothing about Fantasy Football. Rocky is way better than Redden.

That is why Rich will never be a legit elite player in SC until he can break that tag :(. Such a shame, but he should attract the #1 tag because of the leg on him. I would love Rocky to get the #1 tag though, even Redden, anybody but Rich :P.
