Change of pace, a trade!

Berlin trade: Lachlan Henderson + Pick 60
Toronto trade: Dayne Zorko

Reason:
Well, there is about 6 months that separate these two in age, less than 1 point in average ppg, and if I had either one of them, I'd play them in the forward line. But in this case, Toronto gain a more than handy def/for, and I gain a M/F that I reckon can increase his average easier than Henderson. A risk! But one that I am willing to take.

Also, I have always liked Zorko  :P ripper last name
CONFIRMED

Finally a trade from Toronto haha.

Reasoning: As Purps said very similar scoring players thus far and both quite popular with their respective coaches, after trading so hard for Zorko last year coming of 100 ave in his debut year it's hard to give him up, but in my eyes basically the outcome of this trade hinges on what role Leppa plays the Zork in next year. Hopefully for me midfield time is minimal haha. The pick is just due to my 9 retirements/delistings so far so may have to look to add depth in the International Draft.

Nine retirements and delistings? That's cute :P

Still no Maca... but here is my official write-up

Trades Passed Fully (2 votes or less)
* These trades passed, with or without my objection

Trade 25:

Sao Paulo trade: Mitch Duncan and Pick 57
New Delhi trade: Jake Stringer and Ben Jacobs

Trade 26:

Berlin trade: Shane Edwards and Brandon Matera
London trade: Ben Reid and Ricky Petterd

Trade 27:

Pacific trade: Jack Viney, Jackson Paine and Pick 60
Berlin trade: Andy Otten, Lindsay Thomas and Pick 15

Trade 28:

Cairo trade: Shaun Grigg
Dublin trade: Jed Anderson

Trades Fully Rejected (9 votes or more)
* These trades passed, with or without my support

Beijing trade: Harry Taylor, Matt Spangher and Pick 41
Wellington trade: Mitch Golby, Jake Neade, Adam Schneider and Pick 1

Reasons include:
- Wellington giving up too much, that the #1 pick is very valuable. Suggested another fringe player/2nd round draft pick given be Beijing.
- Taylor has limited future
- #1 pick and Taylor seen as roughly equivalent (if not #1 worth more than Taylor), others seem like overkill
- Golby looks to be a future premium

Trades Passed by the Coaches, but referred to me (3 votes or more)

Nil

Trades Rejected by the Coaches, but referred to me (8 votes or less)

Trade 29:

Dublin trade: Jack Darling, Jed Lamb, Brad Hill and Lachy Plowman
Cape Town trade: Jobe Watson

VERDICT: PASS Consitent with both teams trading patterns. Cape Town and Dublin still have depth in the places out they trade, and Cape Town receive valuable back-up. So will let this one through..

Trades Rejected for other reasons

Hasn't been on since the 28th. The waiting game just got all the more interesting.

I said this to Rico this morning! Mental!

I think we should be lenient here; if I remember correctly Maca is in year 12 and entering the hard part of the year. Wouldn't be surprised if he's got rid of his laptop/computer all together for a month and a half... probably what I should do :P

So why have oll the teams he does? That makes no sense, no excuse imo

ossie85

It would be very harsh to sack maca, reckon other punishments maybe? Membership points, premiership points....

Player delisting a sounds good lok

While this is true, and I know what it's like... the fact that you and others (I'm sure there are, I know Jukes is...) who are in Year 12 have been able to get on, it kinda doesn't excuse it altogether. I do agree though, it would be harsh, but I would have thought that that he would have been on once since the 28th... at the very least on the weekend.  :-X :)

Let's cross that bridge IF we need to then
More then likely he will be on in next few days

Let's just cross that bridge if it comes to that. I'm thinking maybe Suns not allowed to participate in finals next year? ;)

It's weird because he hasn't logged on here since the 28th, but he has been on the TerranX site then, posting a pick on October 4.

Only concern is you say it would be very harsh to sack maca, but if there rules were stated that if you miss 2 voting periods you will be sacked then it would be a bit weak to backpedal on that. Don't know if you did state that was the rule or if I was just making that up, but if I missed 2 trade periods and that was the rule I would understand getting sacked.

Obviously I don't want him sacked though as we have a great rivalry :) Although I'm sure there are plenty of people who are willing to take over the team haha ;)
