It's just that he's 27 and he's never averaged over 95 Q  :-\

I mean, if you look at who was drafted at number one in the 10 drafts before 2011 you get these players:

David Swallow - highest average 79 but still only 20
Tom Scully - highest average 79 but still only 21
Jack Watts - highest average 86 and is still considered a bust of a number 1 pick. Still only 22
Matthew Kreuzer - highest average 97
Bryce Gibbs - highest average 108
Marc Murphy - highest average 118
Brett Deledio - highest average 116
Adam Cooney - highest average 106
Brendan Goddard - highest average 130
Luke Hodge - highest average 118
Nick Riewoldt - highest average 117

So only the most recent three have averaged less than Harry Taylor, and they've all got time to grow. Add this to the fact that Tom Boyd is touted as one of the best prospects ever seen, and I think you've got someone worth more than Taylor.
Taylor averaged 94 this season, stop using "he's never averaged over 95"  :P

Taylor also has more time to improve his average... Boyd may be an awesome prospect, may not be a SC one. Like I said, you can't predict what rookies will score!

Vinny

You can't really predict what anyone will score, us using he has only averaged over 90 once is a fair argument showing that he isn't that proven in fantasy. You can say anyone has time to improve especially Boyd. Plus you don't have to get Boyd. There are plenty of other gun midfielders that will do well in Fantasy.

I still dispute it  :P the guy is going to be  star! Just you watch  ;)

Hahah I agree, he will prove everyone wrong and average 100+ one year at least under Roos. He is a freak 8)

In his six seasons for Geelong, he's averaged 80 or more four times, with this last season at 94. Then you consider that there aren't many premium defenders around, let alone ones with his high roof.

He's proven himself to me, and I think he has to the majority of other coaches, seeing as they've told Toga and I that they are interested in him and one stage or another... *whistles*

Nails

Dane Swan is good and other coaches have been interested, doesn't mean I can sell him for 5 premos in return.

This!

There is almost a 100% chance that pick #1 will be a star
A lot less risk than any other picks

I don't think anyone is debating whether or not Taylor is a good player. I think the issue is he is so far from being worth Pick 1 + Golby :P

Because he's not what we need  ::)

Change of pace, a trade!

Berlin trade: Lachlan Henderson + Pick 60
Toronto trade: Dayne Zorko

Reason:
Well, there is about 6 months that separate these two in age, less than 1 point in average ppg, and if I had either one of them, I'd play them in the forward line. But in this case, Toronto gain a more than handy def/for, and I gain a M/F that I reckon can increase his average easier than Henderson. A risk! But one that I am willing to take.

Also, I have always liked Zorko  :P ripper last name

kilbluff1985

very big chance Zorko will be forward only next year :P
