That's what I plan to be doing if I am close to trading away a player. Don't want to miss out on a better deal by trading early ;)

risk is though the good deal you got early may look elsewhere and when you want to do that deal its no longer there.

It was a general statement. Reading back on it, it does look like a threat. It's not the intention.

I held out on a deal last year and it ended up costing me.

Toumpas is a talent, even though he's been flowering awful this year. Hopefully he can improve. Karny is a talent too. Although starved for opportunity under Voss, hopefully he'll get more for whoever coaches next or if he gets traded.
