i think lamb may have, or at the very least was on the emergency list.

I just asked a question. I didn't neg your trade before. Last time you were getting the better deal but nothing over the top.

I'm not going to give my opinion on the trade till it's vote has passed. I don't want my opinion effecting others  ;)

A big trade here:

Beijing give: Taylor + Spangher + ND#41

Wellington give: ND #1 + Golby + Neade + Schneider

If my calculations are correct, this trade is fine as we gain points and Pot doesn't go under.

Taylor is a massive loss being probably our first or second most valuable player, still got a few years left in a great side but we need better depth and Toga and I feel like we are getting that in this deal.

We feel that Taylor is worth Pick 1 and Golby. Always a risk when picking a rookie but Golby makes up for that. Letting go of our best player for controlling Pick 1 and 2 is something I feel good about.

If Spangher could get games next year I think he'd be a great scorer, but we're prepared to give him up for someone like Neade, who might not be the best scorer but will be a serviceable forward in the future.

Adam Schneider balances out the trade points wise and will be another serviceable forward, even if it's only for a couple of years. We didn't really want to keep Pick #41, I think this is a fair swap.

Well I actually voted for the original trade as i thought it was a much fairer trade ;)

needed to bring in a premium player to really take control of our backline and although pick 1 could be a big loss we needed immediate improvement and with Harry Taylor we should achieve that, if spangher manages to break into the hawks lineup next year he should be a serviceable player and capable of some good scores while golby is a fairly big loss i think the right price was paid.
