assuming the dons get their points taken off them its a 3 way battle for the 8th spot.

gellong play the lions at skilled, you woudl think that puts them out of the race.
carlton take on port at ammi, port woudl go in as favouirte but defaintely a winable game v the blues.

We play the pies, with finals on the line i think we are a decent shot.

think we can do it? and do we even deserve to be there if we make it?

would mean we take on richmond round 1 who i actually think we coudl take out. Would be the perfect team to play. last year was a first finals appearance for many, dont think they are many at the tigers with finals experience.

Crows also a chance to make it. Need to be beat West Coast by about 5 goals, Port to beat Carlton by about 5 goals and Brisbane and North to lose. All feasible scenarios I think.

As for North, I think they are capable of beating any team on their day which they've proved this season. Richmond would definitely be a winnable final for them especially given the unknown of how the Tigers will cope with the finals pressure.

roo boys!

Would be nice, tough to beat the Pies but have proven that it can be done last year. Should be a good one.

If we do make it would be nice to ruffle some feathers with not a lot to lose.

Of the 4 teams competing for it, I really hope North is the team tht makes it. All the others would get clobbered.

If Brisbane do not make it I will be supporting my second Team North all the way.  Playing attractive football and seem to be getting over last quarter fade outs,

Port will probably lose on Saturday so may aswell forget everything. :'( If Port do manage to win, then hopefully North can get in, as they will put the Tigers in their place. :P

North are the only team outside the 8 that could cause some damage in finals.
It's between Carlton and North for that last spot imo
Brissies % is terrible so they would need to win by like 30+ goals
Adelaide would also need to win big against the Eagles, like 10 goals. And Carlton would have to lose fairly heavily as well

Ringo

What people seem to forget is if Brisbane win North. West Coast or Crows can not make the final as Brisbane is currently a game in front level with Carlton. So if Port beat Carlton and Brisbane Win Brisbane finish 9th. But that will be short lived as Richmond would relish playing Brisbane rather than Carlton.

Know this may sound biased but Brisbane quoted at $11:00 so have had a lazy $5 as those odds which I think are overs.

brisbane playing gellong at skilled and they need to win to get a home final against probbaly freo and avoid heading west.

I will give you $20 odds.

Just peeved our % is crap should have put both GWS and Dogs away with the starts we had and really got it up so would not have to worry about beating Geelong.

Still give us some chance against Geelong -

Wouldn't mind if the Pies lost this weekend and it caused Carlton to miss

Not a whole lot to play for for the Pies... ;)

How's this - pies let north win, if they let trav kick 7, preferably 8, goals?

No Thompson or grima. If he is on he can do it without out help. I don't think anyone in the 7 wants north to make it. We can take anyone down on our day, especially coming of wins against the pies and cats and a 2 goal loss to the hawks.

Vinny

North are a very capable side but so are Carlton, could be bias but..

The Blues aren't as bad as everyone thinks. It is because everyone had such high expectations and I did aswell to be honest.

We lost to-

Collingwood by 17 after leading the whole game.
Richmond by 5 and then we beat them the next time.
Cats by 16, that game we should have won too.
Hawks by 15 after controlling most of the game.

Beat Port. Only teams that cleaned us up were Freo and Sydney.
