Swan (95) vs. Dangerfield
Cox (100) vs. Goldstein
Roughead vs. Harvey
JPK vs. Watson
Barlow vs. Mundy
R.Murphy vs. Hibberd
Griffen vs. Bartel

Those are the matchups for my prelim final. He has the VC on Dangerfield which worries me, I think he'll go big and the C on Ablett! What do you reckon I should do? Take Pendles' 114 or risk Ablett?

Do Stkilda tag?
They have Clint Jones but GAJ did notch up like 180 against them in round 1.

Tom Curren is the guy that Watters said might go to him.

Maybe take the risk on Barlow or Griffen

I could even go SteveJ as a POD?

Ablett, Barlow, Griff, SJ are my 4 options if I choose to not take Pendles.

Slashers

Is there ANY evidence GAJ might be under an injury cloud?

So I'm down by 59 points now with the same amount of players played. He is going Ablett C.

So now I have a dilemma. Do I breakeven with him and stick with Ablett skipper or create a POD by going with Pendles score, Griffen or Barlow?

I'm in a similar position only I've got the 50 point buffer. Seriously considering taking Pendles score, although betting against Ablett could come back to bite me. Decisions, decisions.

yeah its a tough choice hey mate. To make it worse he has Johnson's 83 to come on for Walker whereas I have whatever Staker gets tomorrow...

Think I need to do something different but not sure what  :-X

The hardest part about this decision is Ablett scored a lazy 178 in his last game against St Kilda, however his last 3 games have been very ordinary. Tough call indeed.

I'm in the same situation. I'm going Gaz, Just can't take the chance of him going big this week. If he doesn't, oh well, at least our opponents get the same score. You're down by 59, I can't see Gaz scoring less than 90 odd, so if you stay away from him you have to take the gamble on someone who hasn't played I reckon.

this might sound crazy but I am thinking of going Tom Rockliff....

I think Ablett might be a better risk than Rockliff, since Rocky could cop the Cross or Wallis tag.
I'm gonna risk Gaz as my captain since my opponent has the C on Jelwood  ::)

Beauty of it is, I can see how my opponents players go tonight and reassess tomorrow whether I need to risk it with Rocky or play is safe with Gaz.
