Would love for your feedback. I like my team, just couple out Rd 1 and unsure on Brett Burton. What do you guys think?

Back: Enright, Shaw, Hodge, McDonald, Gram, Malceski, Waters.
Maguire, Davis

Mid: Pendlebury, Bartel, Mitchell, Cooney, McVeigh, Martin
Banner, Shuey

Ruck: Sandilands, Hille
Skipper, Trengove

Fwd: Riewoldt, Pavlich, Brown, Franklin, Medhurst, Burton, Rockliff
Gumbleton, Dennis-Lane

Pretty much all cash bar not much used....

Quite a few unusual picks in there: McDonald, Gram, Medhurst, Burton - maybe limit that to 3 at most

Don't like Hille or Gumbleton, not because I'm anti-Essendon, but because of the injury potential

Yeah I do agree with the last 2. But think the first 2 are pretty solid. My last one is the iffiest. Burton, Matt Campbell, Ballantyne? And yeah gumby may not stay..

apart from bench players, no i have changed nothing. just really looking at that 2nd last forward spot and who is the best fit. and if someone looks good might have to move a bit to get some money.. im completely stumped lol

only traded davis for silvagni (providing he gets promoted) and then dennis lane for hitchcock down forward. Keep gumby and hope he stays together!!

Just forward line i seem to keep coming back to mayne or ballantyne. any thoughts on the better player out of the 2. Would love burton but adelaide wont say how far away he is.

Not looking for the 50 thousand dollar winning team, just happy for a league win, although we do have a fairly strong league

Agree with most posts.  Ditch the Birdman.  You've also got too many mid pricers in the midfield when this year is littered with potential cash cows that you don't have (Trengove, Scully, Morabito, Barlow, Jetta, Moles, Bastinac etc).  I personally would downgrade either McVeigh or Cooney (probably Cooney, picking up about 300k), upgrade Pendlebury to Ablett (using 150k of the 300k, leaving you 150k), upgrade Burton to Dangerfield or Ziebell (leaving you 70k or 85k respectively), then re acquire Pendlebury for Mitchell (leaving you 50k or 65k depending on the Burton trade) and use that last money to upgrade Bartel (DT specialist, not that good in SC) to the likes of Dal Santo, Hayes, Davis (risky IMO), Murphy (risky IMO) etc.

Medhurst is also a risk IMO but he could pay off if he gets back to the form of 2008. 
A couple of nice uniques in the backline (McDonald, Gram) that not many people will have.
Rucks OK but keep and eye on Hille, as I think he'll play more forward than in the ruck which might lead to the Justin Koszchitzke syndrome of yo-yo scores.
Forward line is pretty solid.

Thanks for the help so far. Very positive criticism always helps. Just who to decide with that 2nd last forward. Mayne in at the moment but yeah will see with the last game and teams for rnd 1 i guess!
