worth a punt? bob murphy is my number one trade in for heppell this week but with the struggling cannon mckenzie in my team i've been looking around. ave 83, 88 if you take out the first two games of the season more than some of the other mentioned replacements, GWS this week and the struggling bombers next, could be an interesting POD

Current back line Goddard, Murphy, Enright, Hanley, Gibbs, Houli
Other options
O'Brien, Hibberd, Scotland, Ellis all out of my price rang
Pearce, Duffield - Both reasonable options
Shaw - Human YOYO, can cost you a final, just look at last week

or i could just keep the cannon and use the money to upgrade other areas ie, Cotch

I'd go Murphy, especially since he has two easy match ups coming up....

I suggested Houli in a thread earlier in the week but got no discussion on him and have seen none until this thread.

I personally like him. As consistent in scoring 80ish scores as any other defender and GWS will give up as many 100s as any opponent of the other backline choices so no reason he cant be one to score the ton. He will be a big POD in my league (no one left has him, less likely to be traded in than others) but at the same time not one who is really likely to cost you a game with a 50 like a Duffield (who I already have), Pearce or Shaw

Im bringing in the Ellis Houli combo. GWS love to tag but one will get off the leas IMO, and as you said, Essendon are struggling so could be plenty of points on offer next week too.
