ABLETT or BARLOW as captain this week?

I know this might seem like a stupid question, and I am fairly certain that I will keep the captaincy with Ablett...

But I am playing in a preliminary final against a strong side and ablett hasn't scored above 100 in 3 weeks. Meanwhile, Barlow has been extremely consistent and is just about a lock in for a hundred.

Should I consider Barlow against port or should I trust that Gazza will bounce back against the saints?

Huge Gazza fan but been on the Swan train the last few weeks and couldn't really trust the Cpt to Gazza in a prelim at the minute tbh.

Yeah Swan easily Ablett has been crap lately and you can't trust that Barlow will put up a good enough captains score even tho he has been pretty consistent.

I'm not going to captain Gaz but I do feel like a huge game is in the offering. GCS and Saints will both see a win here and Gaz is due...someone will back him in and could be richly rewarded, a worthy captain if you're an underdog while the rest of us play vanilla and lock in Swan

not having either Gaj or Swan means i'm going for a POD captain :P

note: haven't had Swan all year (yes, my ranking says that that was a foolish decision - currently sitting outside 20k) and took Gaj out last week for some BE trading (to improve other lines) - kinda backfired, but did give me some cash for this week

honestly haven't been too convinced by Barlow recently
didn't see much of their Dees game (thought eh... and turned it off) but he needed some pretty decent junking to ton up vs GWS - i guess i was a bit underwhelmed given the final margin and his 140 score and 3 120s this year

There are a LOT of ghost ships at this end of the year as I assume you know..presenting these stats in isolation to try and diminish an opinion is disingenuous and your anti-Ablett rhetoric (even if correct) has to go down as one of the most excessive sagas I've seen on any forum ever.
