Hartlett gone, clisby gone, heppell out and a 'chance' at a return next week.

this is my squad - 2 trades left $128,900 banked.

Do i take the gamble on heppell returning and buy a combo up to $890,200 like RobMURPHY and RIOLI for hartlett and clisby.

OR do i trade hartlett and hep and have $997,400 to target two def or a def and fwd of a price higher bracket.

would appreciate any ideas for players to target! was thinking bartel and shaw but my opponent has both so mightn't be a good choice. cheers

Yeah i was looking at that one! seems a good trade being to two most expensive and best average def. It would just annoy me if hep was cleared for next week and i didnt hold onto him. where as theres no way back for clisby. better to get the win this week rather than just plan for next i suppose!!

by chucking staker back bringing a fwd and holding onto heppell = best chance at benching staker, benching crouch at the GF (if i make it).

Have plently of DDP mid fwd to move someone to the mids to loop with crouch. Chance of heppell returning and i loop heppell/staker in the backline.

I am going to have to play either zorko or staker up front this week anyway wiht nicholls out and cox covering. so would it be better move staker to def this week, bring in a prem def and take a punt on a fwd to go big this week? ie t.lynch? or rioli.... leaving heppell benched to hopefully return next week???

means ill probably go Hartlett to old man murphy
and clisby to rioli via staker. meaning staker plays in backline and then hopefully just as cover in the GF with hep back.

Would love some input to that idea? if everyone reckons hepps is no chance then ill pocket the extra money and drop him with hartlett for murphy and hibberd (and have 40k left over....)

yeah i wouldnt really want to play staker unless i knew hep was coming back. The word from a few people on FF is hep said on essendon TV thats he thinks he'll be good come first round of finals. might look at dropping hart&hep for defenders.

might look at playing murphy and enright and zorko
