Last upgrade / trades

Looking to make my last upgrade this week by downgrading Clisby to Oxley to free up cash and give DPP with Staker. Team at the moment:

Goddard, Hanley, Birch, Gibbs, Mckenzie, Shaw   (Mackie | Clisby)
Ablett, Pendles, Swan, Jack, Jelwood, Cotchin, JPK, Priddis   (Tmitch, Kmart)
Goldy, Cox   (Gawn, McBean)
Walker, Rockliff, Bartel, JJK, Franklin, Johnson  (Macaffer, Staker)
            
My thinking is that I go clisby to Oxley, leaving me with $207,100 left for the final upgrade.

Thinking either JJK to someone (maybe Petrie, Boomer or NRoo), OR, Tmitch to Barlow and move priddis to the bench. The team I play this week has Barlow, and so do the 2 teams I'd go off against if I get to the GF). Thinking there is more benefit in the Barlow trade and should be good for 20pts per week, as opposed to JJK could be hit and miss with his replacement. Happy to have Mackie as Def cover, or swing Staker up.

Any thoughts appreciated!

I would avoid Boomer. Since grabbing him he has been terrible. Grrrrr.

I wonder whether you should just upgrade JJK this week and save one trade for injury / resting?

Do you have almost no money left as it stands? If so, then your Clisby to Oxley or Richards trade is sensible.

JJK is your weak link I reckon.

Could Freo rest Barlow for you? Here's hoping.

I swear there was a thread on the DT Board this morning that Ross Lyon said Barlow was going to miss this week. When I went to look for it again 10 minutes later it wasn't there  ???

Yeah, only got $2k left in the kitty after my last upgrade  :P

I agree that JJK is the weak link, but his potential replacements could potentially be as hit and miss as he is?

Would be fantastic for barlow to miss this week - well for me, then I can jump on him next week assuming I get through  8)

I am contemplating trading clisby > Oxley as mentioned, and then doing Macaffer to Nroo - then I can have JJK on the bench and Nroo on field.

Tossing up between that and Priddis to Barlow still...

Stuff it - done Clisby > Curran to allow me to sub-loop shaw tonight in case he duds up again.
Then gone macaffer > Nroo and put JJK on the bench to keep Staker company.

Only way I'd reverse it is to go TMitch to Barlow and bench Priddis - thoughts? Anyone  ;D
