Trade question if Kreuzer is out

If the big man misses, then I've got some big issues but can still field a team without donuts, provided no new surprises. Here is my side, with 1 trade left and $103,900 in the bank. Won't list the MIDs because there's no help coming from there (9 pure MIDs and a DEF/MID who doesn't play).

DEF: Goddard, Docherty, Hartlett, Gibbs, McKenzie, Shaw  (Clisby, Heppell)
RUC: Goldstein, Kreuzer (Nicholls, Rowe)
FWD: Cox, Rockliff, Martin, Bartel, JJK, S Johnson (Staker, T Lee)

Assume that all the players in bold are out this week, which appears pretty likely (Heppell in serious doubt, Kreuzer probably a better chance). If Kreuzer plays then I just trade out Hartlett for a defender, but if Kreuzer is also out then I have the option of rotating back to defense and adding a forward.

So my question is: If Kreuzer is out, who should I add? I can afford anybody up to $564k with a Hartlett trade, which means any DEF or FWD. Kicking around the names of Murphy, Birchall and Hibberd in the back line (though Birchall may just start getting tagged again), and a lot of guys up forward (Petrie, Andrew Walker, Mayne, Tippett, Boomer Harvey... hell even Sharrod Wellingham and Lachie Hanson have been scoring well lately).

I would bring a defender for sure mate.

You can cover the rucks by moving Cox there, Rowe forward and playing Staker and Lee.

Down back you don't have any cover so its not worth it and you know for sure Kreuzer won't be sent off as Blues are still fighting for their place in September.

I suggest Hibberd in for HH. Hibberd is one of the most consistent defenders there is and seems to do solid even if the Bombbers are getting destroyed. :)

Only would need to play Staker; Lee and Rowe would be the bench FWDs. Definitely do not want Lee on the field - his scores the last two weeks were 43 and 33. He's a spud!

Hibberd is probably the safest call if I go with a defender, though.

Agree with Vincenzo, HHS out for a defender. Murphy or Hibberd are my 2 that I am currently looking at to replace HH and Hanley. Hopefully Hanley gets up so I can save a trade for GF.
