Many of us are experiencing panic stages with defence injuries. I myself took a punt that Henderson would be back this week. Hes out so anyone else who hung onto him needs a replacement as well.

49.6% of us own Mr. Heppell who is in serious doubt of missing this week. Not to mention Ibbotson (9.8%) and Hartlett (18.96%).

Who is the best replacement then for the final two rounds. The most important rounds of the year.

Birchall at $317,500 seems a steal. Had awesome early season form and was all the rave. Then he slumped in round 6 (50) and 8 (36 against GWS). His last two are North Melbourne and Sydney.

Heritier O'Brien - $436,600 is the most expensive of the lot. Last 3 average of 104. Ive had my eye on him the last few weeks but never had the balls to bring him in, plus, im over the backline and their up one fortnight down the next patterns. He has West Coast and North Melbourne.

Michael Johnson has flown under the radar a little bit. Priced at $385,200 but some inconsistent scoring pops up as a problem. How will he score if Ibbotson comes back? Last two are Port Adelaide and St. Kilda.

Enright - $420,500. Finishes the year off with Sydney and Brisbane. Is a popular choice of late and has pretty solid scoring over the year. Has to be in the top 3 for the last two youd think.

Hibberd - $405,700. Essendon. They have lost me a lot of money this year losing to teams they should have beaten  >:(   Can Hibberd keep up his form? Last 3 average is 94 and playing against Carlton and Richmond. Earlier in the year he only scored 55 against Carlton.

Bob Murphy is $394,900 and in good form as are the Doggies of late. 92 (West Coast), 93 (Sydney), 77 (Carlton), 95 (Adelaide) so its not against shower opposition. He should finish off strong against Brisbane and Melbourne.

Ellis - $409,300. Has been in great form for most of the year. A little hiccup on the weekend (Correct me if im wrong but he started strong then tapered off??? Did he have a role change or fade out??). Either way, if I didn't have him I would be picking him up.

So who are you going to pick? My money is on Harry and a toss up between Murphy and Enright. Share your thoughts on who you think is top and why.

In terms of form + consistency + draw, I'd rate that list like this:

Enright, O'Brien, Murphy, Hibberd, Johnson, Birchall (Draw the main reason).

DTCoach

Where would people rate Ellis and houli in that lot?

I have none of those listed in the OP but am leaning toward these 2 over all of them.

Ellis has such a high ceiling and Houli has been very consistent after the start of the year.

GWS this week and a sinking Essendon could see them both score as well as any other.

Dave085

Added Ellis. Sorry didn't have him there because I have him.

With Ellis added. Enright just feels like the safest of the lot for me.

nobody keen on terlich? gonna see plenty of action in melbournes backline...

I think Birchall looks good if you're on a budget. He is way to cheap to ignore, especially if you're just going to bench him (like me).

I've had Enright for most of the year.

Assuming Ibbo is back, which I think he will so he get match fitness back before finals. I'm thinking Heppell -> Birchall which gives me enough cash to go Stanton -> Beams

BTW, Ellis got tagged after qtr time - hence the drop off in scoring.

Yeah Dennis went to him after 1/4 time and cut down his scoring  >:( I think he was on about 35 at 1/4 time.

As someone who doesn't have Hanley, would you consider bringing him in for Hartlett/Heppell (if he gets up) over the likes of O'Brien, Murphy and Enright? Or is the hip flexor something to worry about?

Windigo

Going Ellis for his GWS game and undecided for the other one.  :-\

Thinking I might go JJK->Scotland for his DPP & that way I can play Boomer & Bartel up front. Then trade Dyson nek week

?

IronMan69

Charlie Dixon, has scores of 98 (vs Saints) and 119 (vs GWS) against his next 2 opponents from earlier this year

i'd probably consider the other GC fantasy-relevant DEF (and no, i'm not talking about McKenzie here)
