Sounds stupid to even consider but could playing crouch over ROK be a masterstroke in Prelim final week?

ROK struggling and up against Geelong with crouch 5 of last 8 over 100 and playing Melbourne.

Crouch is genuinely in the crows best mid rotation and arguably the best clearance player in the team at the moment behind danger.

Even on the weekend with his lowest score for a while he had high 20s, just handballed a lot (not uncommon for him but even more so than usual)

If it wasn't v melb I'd play safe with the premo but I can see him out scoring o'keefe. Just worry his ceiling (120 high but most 100s are around 105) isn't high enough to warrant the risk over ROK who has higher ceiling despite recent form

its me lads

Wow someone actually has Crouch.

I thought I was the only one.  :P

He is a gun, a bit handball happy as you mentioned but yeah it's very tempting to play him over ROK this week. I also have ROK. Against bad teams you do need to understand that not everyone will ton up, however he will be behind Danger, Sloane and probably even Thommo when it comes to getting tagged.

Not sure what I'll do yet but it's looking likely that I'll pay him.

I am upgrading Mitchell to Jelwood or Watson and benching ROK

I started Crouch over Bartel last week  :'(

I wouldn't be surprised if Thompson is shelved for the season now meaning less competition in the midfield for Crouch. I have ROK and he seems to be back to hard tagging (took Dal Santo on Sunday) and his scores are suffering.

At this stage I'll be starting Crouch over ROK.
