Lance Franklin get's one week for a high bump which he had total control over. His record might be clean as he hasn't been in trouble for a while, however he has been guilty 7 times for high bumping.

On the other hand Kane Cornes, who played 260+ clean games, pushes Sam Mitchell in the back (good dive Mitchell made aswell btw) who just got up afterwards and had no injury, also got a week.

Must agree PB, the MRP confuses the bageebuz out of me. Cornes was a shocking call

Franklin decision is a disgrace.

The MRP needs to be revisited because it is not working at a just or consistent level.

The Franklin decision was right. The Cornes decision was a disgrace.

The MRP decisions are a disgrace

Can some one explain to me the difference in the demerit points system between the Cornes and Franklin charges,

Cornes was charged with engaging Level 1  Rough Conduct offence 225 demerit points reduced to one game with an early plea
Franklin was charged with engaging in Level 2 rough conduct  offence 225 demerit points reduced to one game with early plea.

Hartlett was charged with engaging in Level 3 Rough conduct offence 325 demerit points.

Can understand why Hartlett was charged with a higher grade offence because of the concussion (although I do not believe this should be the case in assessing charge) however fail to see how a Level 1 and level 2 have the same number of demerit points.

Agree Cornes decision was disgraceful.

I don't understand what the Levels 1, 2 & 3 mean, however the Cornes incident shouldn't have even been cited in the first place.
