Well it depends on how you look at it. I reckon our game is becoming soft with all this punishment over a good fair bump.

However if you look at in the way that if other players copped harsher suspensions for something not as bad then yes he should have been given more.

Seb was knocked out cold, he didn't even get concussion subbed it was a straight subbing and stretchered and you don't get stretchered often from a knock out, they usually get up. Hartlett was always going to get 2 so he can play finals if they make it....

AFL bans get halved. Which makes sense- there's so much more scrutiny in the afl, such a large televised sport, anything and everything you do will pretty much get pinged.

the state competitions dont have this issue, so players will get away with stuff that in the afl they probably would have copped a couple of weeks for.
