not sure it matters neither of us (on this weeks performance) have a chance against ele..

This is the key here, we have a fairly young team so we're up and down like a yoyo!

Just look at Dusty :P 26 last week, 167 this week! Safe to say my boy LOCKie Neale will not be leaving the lineup!

We have seen the semifinals and preliminary finals completed;

Preliminary Finals.
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs 28.14.182 defeated Swansea Breakers 22.19.151
Late changes: Rory Thompson replaced Adam Cooney for the Breakers.
The Hedgehogs in a scintillating display reminiscent of their Top scoring Round 10 performance easily accounted for the Breakers, The Breakers suffered a setback when in form midfielder was injured in the warm up and was unable to take his place in the team and whilst this may not of effected the overall result his presence was surely missed in the midfield. The Breakers were again forced to field a make shift ruckman in Joel Patful allowing Matthew Lobbe to dominate this area for the Hedgehogs.  No doubt the Breakers recruiting staff will be looking to strengthen the ruck area during the trade period. With Lobbe dominating the rucks and Lachie Neale having an outstanding game, the Hedgehogs went out to an early lead and were never headed. Captain Scott Selwood for the Hedgehogs closely followed Breakers captain all day and although he had ample ball he was unable to get the ball forward.  When the Ball did venture into the Breakers forward line the Hedgehog defence led by Dannyle Pearce quickly quelled the attack,  Only disappointment for the Hedgehogs was the continued poor form of vice-captain Brent Stanton and coaches Elephants/Spite may have to make the hard decision this week if they are to compete with the Werewolves.
Best Players:
Hedgehogs: Dustin Martin, Scott Selwood, Lachie Neale, Matthew Lobbe, Dannyle Pearce
Breakers: Leigh Montagna, Dane Swan, Steele Sidebottom, Troy Chaplin,

Winchester Werewolves 26.18.174 defeated Birmingham Bombers 25.17.167
Late changes Adam Tomlinson replaced Tom T Lynch for the Werewolves and Josh Caddy Replaced Jordan Lewis for the Bombers.
In a very exciting and tense game the Birmingham Bombers were unable to hold out the fast finishing Werewolves urged on by their very parochial home crowd. With Brad Couch and Daniel Wells dominating the midfield early the Bombers established and early lead despite the efforts of Matt Priddis. Captain Jack Ziebell and Cyril Rioli contributed to the early scoreboard dominance by the Bombers. The Werewolves were dealt a blow late in the second quarter with a severe injury to Luke Ball resulting in him being subbed out of the game. After a very stern half time talking to by Coach Colliwobblers a different team emerged in the second half. Captain Nathan Fyfe and Defender Bryce Gibbs lifted considerably and slowly but surely wittled the Bombers lead down. When small forward Robbie Gray took a strong contested mark in front of Goal with 2 minutes to go the Werewolves hit the lead for the first time. The werewolves made sure of the result with the werewolves winning the centre clearance and a bullet like pass from Fyfe again found Gray unmarked and with the subsequent goal Werewolves were home.
Best Players:
Werewolves: Matt Priddis, Robbie Gray; Nathan Fyfe; Sam Gibson, Ben Cunnington, Dayne Zorko  8) 8)
Bombers: Brad Crouch, Daniel Wells, Jack Ziebell, Zac Clarke, Justin Westhoff
